"Stopped here for food the night before a cruise and sure am glad we did. Was early for supper or late for lunch so went for subs instead of pizza. My wife had the meatball sub and I had the assorted Italian. Possibly the best meatball sub we have tried. I was not ready with the camera but the cheese pull was crazy. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the food. Pictures I have seen of his other food make me sorry we are not staying longer. Although small the restaurant has a nice charm to it. All very authentic and everything made fresh."

"Last week, I was at Shibolim Bakery one or two doors down and hadn't eaten yet so I went in and had the two slice plus a drink special for just over eight bux. Tonight, I went back for more pizza and garlic rolls. This place rocks!!! Excellent pizza! I'll definitely be back! ----+----+----+---- March 2026. Since Google won't let me add another review here's an update: This is one of my favorite thin crust pizzas around. One slice bacon & mushroom, the other pepperoni & onion. Pizza was great as usual, and so were the onion rings. I didn't get garlic rolls this time but they're very good as well. Yes the owner really is Pauli, who is a friendly, hard working guy. It's in the Jaxson's plaza, just a few doors north."

"Great place. Food (caesar salad, large), and extra-large meat lover's peace both were very good. Definitely a thin crust place, cooked perfectly (quality of ingredients were very good). Our orders served 4 adults. Place is small, so recommend slightly off hours or takeout just in case. If you want a romantic evening out for two, find another place--if you are staying at a hotel or passing through and need to feed a family with good food at a reasonable price, this is your spot."

"I had a hungry and tired family. Commence Paulis. Unsuspecting from the outside but just perfect inside. Tables for small parties but you just know the place does business via in house and takeout. We opted for in house. Do it. The food will transport you to bliss and the calm of eating mouths bring angels. Everything we got hit the spot and the portions were great. Definitely recommend. "The best italian food I have ever had! We are staying in a hotel near by traveling through and stumbled upon this gem. If I’m in the area again I will definitely make a special trip to visit. I got the ravioli and the chicken parm. Everything is hot and fresh! The atmosphere is homie and the customer service is wonderful. Must try!!!!"
